After dismal show in BGT, Rohit Sharma to turn up for Mumbai's Ranji practice session
New Delhi: Indian men’s team captain Rohit Sharma is reportedly said to turn up for a practice session just 10 days before the Mumbai cricket team returns to the second phase of the Ranji Trophy 2024. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side is scheduled to face Jammu and Kashmir from January 23 to 26 in Mumbai.
Following the dismal performance with the bat in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25, Rohit and other out-of-form batters were advised to return to domestic cricket and regain their mojo. The Indian captain scored 31 runs in five innings at an appalling average of 6.20. As a result, Rohit dropped himself from the team in the final Test in Sydney, which India lost by six wickets and eventually lost the series........
