Kolkata: In a major incident, Major Syed Moiz Abbas Shah, a 37-year-old officer in the Pakistan Army who reportedly captured Indian Air Force Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman following the Balakot airstrikes in 2019 has been killed in an encounter with the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) in south Waziristan region.
