Battled US tariffs, edged past Japan, eased inflation: Indian economy overcame hurdles to soar in 2025
New Delhi: How was the year 2025 for the Indian economy? It faced some hiccups but still had several clear milestones to boast about. Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the importance of sustained and methodical governance reforms.
PM Modi said that India’s growth story is being shaped by credibility, stability and long-term confidence rather than headline-driven policy changes.
Sharing an article titled “Reform Express 2025” written by Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri on X, PMO wrote, “From labour laws and trade agreements to logistics, energy and market reforms, India’s growth story is being built on credibility, stability and long-term confidence,” the PMO said.
