New Delhi: With just a little room for spin, flawless Australia will go into the fourth Ashes Test against England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) with a pace-heavy attack. England allowed the Aussies to retain the Ashes in just 11 days of on-field action after going in the first three Test matches, with luck not favouring them in the third game.
While the Australian playing XI for the second-last Test match of the series is yet not known but the hosts will not replace injured Nathan Lyon with another spin bowler as pacer’s have done magical for them in the series and the MCG pitch offers a plenty of grass.
Lyon suffered a hamstring injury in the last match at the Adelaide Oval which paved way for spinner Todd Murphy to enter the squad. But keeping in mind the pitch in Melbourne, the Aussies decided to leave Murphy out when they named the squad on Thursday. Skipper Steve........
