Tamil Nadu CM Vijay to face trust vote today, AIADMK to vote against government

The TVK Government led by Chief Minister Vijay has the support of Congress, Left parties, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), and the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML). The state government has the support of 120 MLAs in the 234-member Assembly.

New Delhi: Days after being sworn in, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C Joseph Vijay is all set to face the trust vote in the state Assembly on Wednesday. He and nine of his ministers were administered the oath of office by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar last Sunday.

Notably, the TVK Government led by Chief Minister Vijay has the support of Congress, Left parties, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK), and the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML). The state government has the support of 120 MLAs in the 234-member Assembly.
