Free electricity up to 200 units, task force for women’s safety: Vijay’s first orders as Tamil Nadu CM

Among his first decisions as chief minister, Vijay announced 200 units of power to be supplied for free, a special task force to control the drug menace, and a special force to ensure women's safety in the state. The chief minister said he would maintain full attention to health, water, and education.

Chennai: TVK chief C Joseph Vijay took oath as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on Sunday. Soon after, the news chief announced several decisions for the state, related to electricity, drug menace, women’s safety, among others.
