New Delhi: Real Madrid have ended association with coach Xabi Alonso within 24 hours after 3-2 defeat to bitter rivals FC Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final.
Second-team manager and former defender Alvaro Arbeloa will take over the team’s reign after Alonso’s three-year tenure came to an end after only seven months, following poor runs of results across competitions.
