The Delhi High Court has granted the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) additional time to respond to a plea filed by a woman seeking Rs 20 lakh in compensation after she was “brutally attacked” by a pack of stray dogs earlier this year.

The petitioner, Priyanka Rai, an assistant branch manager at a bank, was bitten on her feet on March 7 while riding pillion near Khirki Village Road in Malviya Nagar, South Delhi.
