The discussions are expected to focus on enhancing cooperation in defence and security, science and technology, innovation, agriculture, water resource management, trade, economy, and people-to-people exchanges. This will be Modi’s second visit to Israel in the past nine years. During his earlier trip to Tel Aviv in July 2017, India and Israel elevated their bilateral ties to the level of a “strategic partnership”, marking a significant milestone in diplomatic relations between the two nations.
