Apple stores in India pay massive rents: Noida and Mumbai leading |
New Delhi: Apple is intensely growing its retail outlets in India, and the price of entering prime space is raising eyebrows. The technology giant is also making one of the highest retail rates in the country, with monthly amounts of tens of lakhs in its flagship stores. The recent stores in Noida and Mumbai indicate that Apple is prepared to spend a lot of money on high-end stores to solidify its position in high-consumption markets.
The fifth Indian outlet of the company, which is located in the DLF Mall of India in Noida, has a monthly rent of more than Rs 45 Lakh. In the meantime, its latest Mumbai store at Borivali has the additional rent of Rs 17.35 lakh per month.........
