Retail inflation surges 5.54% in September this year | Check details
As per the National Statistics Office (NSO), food inflation increased to 7.74 percent in September as compared to 5.97 percent in August.
New Delhi: Retail inflation in the country surged 5.54 percent in September due to high prices of onions and other food items, the data released by the government said. The Consumer Price Index (CPI) based headline inflation was 4.83 percent in August this year.
