New Delhi: An explosion in Dhaka killed at least one person on Wednesday evening.

According to PTI reports, at least one person was killed after a crude bomb was hurled from a flyover in the Moghbazar area of the Bangladeshi capital, police said. The explosion triggered panic in a busy part of the city.

The explosion occurred beneath the flyover near the Freedom Fighters’ Memorial and the Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad building, an area frequented by commuters and roadside vendors. Witnesses said the device was thrown from above and detonated on the road below.

Police said the victim died on the spot. He was later identified........
