The burst of energy in the Solar Cycle 25 peaked at 10:22 PM ET on May 2, 2024, or 7:52 AM IST on May 3, 2024, resulting in a strong radio blackout. The coronal mass ejection will cause a minor and moderate geomagnetic storm when it reaches Earth.
