New Delhi: Jasprit Bumrah etched his name into Indian cricket history on Tuesday night in Cuttack but the moment came wrapped in controversy. The fast bowler became the first Indian to claim at least 100 wickets in all three international formats during his first T20I against South Africa yet questions around a possible no-ball refused to go away.
The landmark wicket arrived on the second ball of the 11th over when Bumrah banged the ball in short and outside off, forcing Dewald Brevis into a rushed pull. The South African batter managed only a top edge, safely collected by Suryakumar Yadav at cover. Men in Blue erupt in celebrations........
