Air quality improves after rain, GRAP-III curbs withdrawn in Delhi-NCR

New Delhi: Stage III restrictions under the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) have been withdrawn across Delhi-NCR after weather conditions brought much-needed relief from pollution. Light rainfall accompanied by strong winds helped improve air quality levels, prompting authorities to ease the stricter curbs while measures under GRAP-I and GRAP-II will continue to remain in force.

Many parts of Delhi-NCR received light rainfall early Thursday, followed by strong surface winds. These weather conditions played a key role in clearing the polluted air that had lingered over the region for weeks.
