New Delhi: India’s Narayana Health has acquired UK company Practice Plus Group Hospitals to advance its health services. With this move, Narayana Health will now work in the UK’s healthcare market as well. Practice Plus Group runs 12 hospitals and surgery centres in the UK, which specialise in bone, eye and general operations. After this deal Narayana Health has now become one of the largest 3 healthcare companies in India.

Practice Plus Group is the fifth largest private hospital network in the UK, where about 80,000 surgeries are performed every year. This deal will give Narayana Health a direct entry into the growing surgery market in the UK. Both companies believe that healthcare should be affordable for all.
