New Delhi: India is all set to launch its first hydrogen-powered train as the project has entered its final stages, reports said. Indian Railways has planned to operate the train between Jind and Sonipat in Haryana as part of the pilot phase.

The train will be the world’s first longest hydrogen-powered trains on broad gauge. It will be equipped with 10 coaches including two driving power cars and eight passenger coaches. Notably, Germany and China are the two countries which operate hydrogen powered trains, but India’s train will be the longest built for........
