Delhi's AQI shows slight improvement but stays 'very poor', several areas still in 'severe' category
New Delhi: The residents of Delhi witnessed a marginal improvement in the Air Quality Index (AQI) on Monday, December 22, as the overall AQI recorded at 377 and took the city from ‘severe’ to ‘very poor.’
While several areas are still in the ‘severe’ category, according to the Central Pollution Control Board website, Narela remained at the top with an AQI of 418, followed by Bawana (408), Wazirpur (403), and Anand Vihar (402) in the early morning.
