Renault Filante revealed as a large hybrid SUV for global markets |
New Delhi: Renault has come up with its Filante, a large hybrid SUV. However, it shares the name with the previous product, though the new Filante has no link to Renault’s earlier Filante concepts, including the 1950s jet-powered prototype or the recent Filante Record 2025 efficiency concept. This version is a production-ready SUV, and importantly, it is not fully electric.
The production will take place at Renault’s Busan plant in South Korea. The Filante will go on sale in South Korea in March 2026, with the launches in South America and the Gulf region expected in early 2027. However, Renault positions Filante as a global........
