New Delhi: Citroen has increased prices of three of its models in India, including the Basalt with Rs 20,000, Aircross with Rs 45,000 and Rs 40,000 for the C3. The hike applies across different variants, apart from this hike there are no changes to features, engines or design.

In terms of competition, the Basalt goes up against the Tata Curvv and also sits as an alternative to midsize SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Suzuki Vitara, and the upcoming Renault Duster.
