New Delhi: BYD showed the updated version of its electric SUV, the Atto 3, in February 2025 with some design changes, but the company did not share the technical details at that time. Now, almost a year later, BYD has released full information about the car and has added a new name, Atto 3 Evo. The update is not just about looks; the SUV gets major mechanical changes, including a bigger battery, a different drive layout and stronger performance.

The earlier Atto 3 was a front-wheel-drive model, but the Evo version moves to a rear-wheel-drive setup and also brings an all-wheel-drive option for the first time.
