Two-storey building collapses in Rajasthan's Kota, over 20 feared trapped |
New Delhi: A two-storey under-construction building collapsed in Rajashtan’s Kota on Saturday night in Indira Vihar under the Jawahar Nagar police station area, triggering panic in the locality. Multiple teams from the police, fire brigade and ambulance services rushed to the spot following the incident. Around 20 children are feared trapped under the debris.
According to initial reports, the building collapsed at around 8:45 pm. Locals immediately began rescue efforts, managing to pull out four to five people from the rubble and rush them to a nearby hospital. Soon after, police, ambulance and fire brigade personnel reached the site to carry out rescue operations.
Local MLA Sandeep Sharma reached the spot soon after the incident........
