Gelatin sticks found near PM Modi event venue in Bengaluru, probe underway
Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bengaluru on Sunday triggered a major security alert after police recovered at least two gelatin sticks near an event venue on the city’s outskirts. The suspicious materials were found during routine security checks close to an ashram near Kagalipura, around 3 kilometres from the main programme venue.
New Delhi:At least two gelatin sticks were recovered near an event venue ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bengaluru on Sunday, leading to a security scare and a large police operation in the area. Officials said the explosives were found near an ashram close to Kagalipura on the outskirts of the city.
According to police, the recovery took place during security checks conducted before the Prime Minister’s........
