5-km traffic jams near Delhi-Gurugram border as vehicle entry ban takes effect
Vehicle checks near Sarhaul toll plaza triggered traffic jams stretching up to 5 km on NH-48 on Sunday morning. The congestion followed Delhi’s ban on the entry of petrol and diesel vehicles registered outside the capital that fall below BS-VI emission standards. Around 50 traffic and police personnel were deployed to check vehicles at the border.
