Former India batter Kris Srikkanth has urged Chennai Super Kings to not hire England's former World Cup-winning captain as their new head coach after Stephen Fleming.
New Delhi: Former India batter Kris Srikkanth has urged Chennai Super Kings (CSK) not to appoint former England captain Eoin Morgan or current England white-ball head coach Brendon McCullum as their new head coach. CSK are currently searching for a replacement after sacking Stephen Fleming as the head coach.
Fleming was removed from his position after CSK endured another dismal campaign in IPL 2026, where they failed to make it to the playoffs for the third season in a row. Ever since Fleming’s departure, several former cricketers and coaches have been linked with the CSK head coach post.
Former England skipper Morgan is believed to be one of the leading contenders for the position.........
