New Delhi: Manchester United and England legend Wayne Rooney has said it will be a ‘no-brainer’ for him to join Michael Carrick’s coaching staff at United if he is offered a role. Carrick is reportedly the favourite to be appointed as United’s interim manager after the club sacked Ruben Amorim last week.
Amorim was sacked following a poor run of results and a public outburst against the club’s hierarchy during the post-match presser following Manchester United‘s 1-1 draw against Leeds United in the Premier League. Following the Portuguese coach’s ouster, United are reportedly looking to hire an interim manager for the remainder of the season.
