Ketan Agarwal’s unnatural death seems to indicate a sociopathic epidemic in India
There are many bizarre and macabre aspects in the death of Ketan Agarwal, allegedly at the hands of his fiancée, Siya Goyal, and her secret boyfriend, Chetan Chaudhary. Like her brother’s reported statement that she did not want to marry Ketan because he was balding and wore a wig.
A 20-year-old Gen Z girl can be expected to harbour such a specious reason not to marry someone. That may not seem odd for a generation that famously lives for and on social media.

More chilling, however, is the possibility that all statements from every side now are being orchestrated to build narratives, either to highlight the complicity of Siya and Chetan in a fatal love triangle or to get them off the hook for the unnatural death of a 26-year-old Ketan, the son of a prosperous realtor in Pune. Or merely muddy the waters so much that the murder case stalls in the slow-paced judicial system forever, something that no one in India would rule out.
Moreover, everything being discussed today based on supposed confessions to the police by the two will surely be inadmissible in court or dismissed as “coerced" testimony.
