Strengthening Ties with Egypt: A Strategic Partnership

Turkey and Egypt are among the few countries with which Pakistan exchanges frequent visits by officials. Pakistan enjoys long-term cordial relations with Cairo and Ankara. The recent high-level mutual exchange of visits have further strengthened these relations and strengthened their mutual cooperation in different sectors.

Recently, the Egyptian Foreign Minister, Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty, visited Pakistan for a couple of days. During this visit, he held talks with Pakistani Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and a few other Pakistani officials. This visit was conducted at the request of the Pakistani Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
