Asim Munir in Tehran: Can Iran Join the Mecca Pact?

Not because Trump wanted to crush Iran but because the US’s kinetic actions resulted in a complete failure. And thus, Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Iran, conveying to Iranians the message of the US and further de-escalating the situation. In the meantime, News was in the limelight when Iranian officials notified that Iran has received a formal invitation from Pakistan to join the Mecca Defense Pact. Now, the question here is, was this visit just meant to revive the expired MOU or to convince Iran to join the Mecca Pact?
