America is Profiteering on the Coffins of Innocent Iranians
The ongoing war in the Middle East has seen American defense companies making gargantuan profits; these profits, however, come at the cost of the blood of hundreds of thousands of Iranians who have become the victims of American and Israeli aggression.
According to a report by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), defense companies the world over have earned over $600 billion in revenue. Of these, American defense companies account for more than half of the revenue. In this context, it becomes essential to analyze this matter in a thorough manner.
As mentioned earlier, war is always good for business. This is particularly true when seen from the perspective of the record-breaking orders the American arms companies are receiving. According to a report, in the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, the American government approved orders under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) route worth $45 billion. Out of these, nearly 81 percent went to the Middle East to serve the needs of America’s Arab allies who are facing the wrath of Iran’s retaliatory strikes.
