John Gerardi makes some very good points in his NRO article “Why Democrats Can’t Moderate on Abortion.” In fact, the situation is even worse than Gerardi describes. In many Democratic-controlled states, Democratic elected officials have taken action to weaken or repeal many commonsense pro-life laws.
