It’s been an eventful few days in Alberta, as some significant developments have impacted a possible fall referendum on Alberta independence. The separatist group Stay Free Alberta has submitted their petition, claiming to have collected just over 300,000 signatures in support of a vote on separation. That would be well above the threshold, but a court injunction has left the verification of that petition in legal limbo.
