Former Canadian ambassador to Israel Vivian Bercovici joined National Post columnist Jesse Kline on Thursday for a live event about the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist against Israel, the ensuing war in Gaza and the rise of antisemitism in Canada.

Bercovici, who lives in Tel Aviv, explained the mood in Israel following the attacks, and how, even though Israeli are united in the goal to “defang” Hamas as a military threat, deep divisions within the society exists.

She detailed evidence for how UNRWA is defacto arm of Hamas, and how a there is no chance for a two-state solution at this time.
