Everyone prefers peace to war, except Iran. It has been at war with the United States and Israel since the mullahs took power in 1979. War is part of its Islamic revolution, and it shall remain so if the current regime stays in power. Israelis, long with Gulf states that have been attacked by Iranian-sent drones and cluster-laden ballistic missiles since late February, are furious about the ceasefire announcement. Leaving a death cult in place would only strengthen Iran’s resolve to rebuild its arsenal and cut down its enemies with even more ferocity.
