There is hope within despair. Since October 7, the Middle East has been burning. Hezbollah, a terror proxy of Iran has been relentlessly launching its arsenal of missiles at Israel’s border communities, rendering them nearly uninhabitable. Like a tumour infecting its host, at the instruction and direction of Iran, Hezbollah used Lebanon as a launching pad to attack Israel.

Hezbollah has weakened and destabilized Lebanon by building its own armed forces, more powerful than the Lebanese army. It amassed over 100,000 rockets aimed at Israel. It recruited and trained a larger military force that aimed to occupy Israel’s north when given the order. It stored weapons caches, dug tunnels (some into Israel) and turned otherwise peaceful villages near Israel’s border essentially into military bases.
