Well, it finally happened. In year six of my legal battle to uphold women’s sex-based rights and the free expression of Canadian professionals, the B.C. Nurses’ Union (BCNU) unceremoniously stopped representing me.

This came approximately one year after I was found guilty of “unprofessional conduct” by the B.C. College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) and was subsequently fired by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH), despite 13 years of loyal employment.

As a reminder, none of my alleged wrongdoing is in any way connected to patient care or complaints. I’ve never had a patient complaint. Nor did I ever bring my politics with me to work. I shared my views, on sex and gender ideology, publicly, legally, and while off duty.
