Here’s how it makes her a better leader.

Can reading novels make you more successful at work and make you a better leader? Maybe it can. It seems to work that way for Molly Graham, a former executive at Facebook and Google, and former VP of operations at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. These days, Graham is the new host of the TED podcast WorkLife, a job she recently took over from Adam Grant. She’s also founder and chief glue person of leadership development community Glue Club.

Though she’s certainly busy, Graham also sets herself the goal to read 52 books a year, or one every week. That habit ties in closely with her ideas about success and what can help make a good leader. But those 52 (or so) books aren’t books about leadership.
