How 2026 Could be the Year the RTO and WFH Debate Gets Settled

Flexible work arrangements are popular among workers, and some CEOs are taking notice.

Even as some business leaders press aggressively for their workers to work more —or all — their hours in the office, research indicates broad support for hybrid and remote working models, to the extent that some staff are finding out how to wiggle around strict RTO rules. But now a new report suggests that the hybrid working trend will define the workplace in 2026, with company leaders beginning to realize that flexible working hours are a business boon.
