You know that being active on LinkedIn could drive leads and brand awareness, but staring at a blank post box is paralyzing. The good news is showing up on LinkedIn doesn’t mean spending an hour crafting a thoughtful, original post. It means logging on and contributing consistently.
As a freelance business owner who helps professionals show up on LinkedIn, I get it. When you’re slammed, the idea of writing a post makes you freeze. So, you stay off LinkedIn because you don’t know what to say. Also, your company’s page is posting. So that’s enough, right?

It’s fine to do this on off-hours or a weekend. Tag the commenter in your reply to make sure they see it. Engaging with comments signals to both your network and LinkedIn’s algorithm that you’re active, present, and posting to build community, not just to post and dash.
Search a few industry keywords.
This is a good way to stay on top of trends and find new voices to add to your feed. After typing in the search term — I recommend with and without hashtags to see what pops — navigate to “Posts,” then filter by “Top Match” or “Latest.”
