Boston Dynamics is an undisputed frontrunner in the race to develop humanoid robots—and now, its Atlas robot is getting to work at Hyundai.
A corner of the parts warehouse at Hyundai’s Georgia factory is home to on-the-job training for Atlas. Following Hyundai’s 2021 investment in Boston Dynamics, the 5’9” and 200-lb humanoid is being trained to perform tasks like sorting roof racks for the Korean automaker’s assembly line.
