Last week, Pabst Brewing Company reportedly laid off 60 to 70 of its employees. In combination with cuts earlier in the year, two former employees estimated the company got rid of between a third and one half of its staff.
Pabst, the fifth-largest macrobrewer in the country, produces brands like Pabst Blue Ribbon, Lone Star Beer, and Old Milwaukee.
The brewer has yet to release details on the layoffs, but it’s not the only brewery battling declining sales.
