People toasting to Christmas cheer.
I am partial to a little British twee language. I love having a ‘picky bits’ dinner and calling it that. I often call the toilet the ‘loo’ and I find it sweet when people call fizzy drinks ‘pop’.
However, I draw the line at ‘Crimbo’. I think it’s time for us, as a society, to move on from saying Crimbo. It’s just a bit far. It gives me the ick, it makes me squirm and it often honestly feels forced.
It’s time to let it go.
