Teachers Reveal What They'd Actually Love For Christmas

As Christmas nears (and my to-do list becomes longer than Santa’s beard) I recently found myself pondering whether I should be getting my child’s teacher a gift.

I’m not entirely sure what the done thing is, but what I do know is that my kid’s teacher is one of her favourite people – and that’s a pretty glowing report given she only started school in September.

A Reddit thread on the topic suggests it is fairly common – especially in primary schools where kids have one main teacher and usually a few teaching assistants who support them for the whole year.

Someone noted it’s less common in secondary schools “because there’s more teachers and less interaction with parents”.
