PM Keir Starmer talks with Year 7 and 13 pupils and teachers as he visits St Mary Magdalene school where he met with young people to discuss issues surrounding violence against women and girls, on December 17, 2025.
If you blinked and missed the VAWG strategy unveiling from the government, it’s not your fault. It was delivered at 1pm at a time when everyone is hurriedly finishing for Christmas – to a parliament of about 20 people. The long-awaited VAWG strategy from Keir Starmer and the government has attempted to do exactly this – claiming to be the most radical solution yet. Jess Phillips confirmed that this government wants to be the most ambitious they have ever been, seeking to prevent VAWG in the first place.
