Kemi Badenoch speaking at Policy Exchange

Kemi Badenoch has just made a rather remarkable claim that Britain is being “cut out” of international intelligence – even though she admitted to having no proof to back it up.

The Tory leader told the Policy Exchange think tank on Monday that the Labour government is “not trusted by our allies” and therefore not privy to key information.

It comes after Keir Starmer embarrassed himself last week by declaring he did not believe close ally Donald Trump had any plans to bomb Iran – only for the US to launch strikes against the country’s nuclear facilities........
