I Swapped Out Coffee With Matcha For A Week And Was Baffled By The Results

I wanted to see if matcha made me feel better than coffee.

I will be the first to hold my hands up and say that I can only get through the day with two or three iced lattes at a minimum. If I do not have these, I’m not a bearable person to be around. Some might say it’s an addiction, but honestly, I call it survival.

So it’s safe to say I wasn’t thrilled about the prospect of no coffee for a week, but I’m always up for a challenge.

I can also admit I slipped up... twice... but that’s OK! I am only human. I also got about three sips into each one and felt guilty, so it doesn’t count, right?

I was truly intrigued to see if I felt better for drinking matcha instead!

Is Matcha Better For You Than Coffee?

Well, there are several schools of thought on this one. In terms of caffeine content, matcha contains far less caffeine than a cup of coffee.
