Spare a thought for my poor wee skin – it’s had a rough year.

First it had to deal with the ever changing weather here in Scotland (could it PLEASE just make up its mind?) and then I had my tonsils out a few months ago.

Weeks of rotting in bed and being pumped full of various painkillers – all while being so ill that I was unable to maintain any form of skin care routine – absolutely destroyed my skin.

I was blotchy, blemishy and the last time I’d seen that many zits on my face I was in my teens. Just what you want to deal with when you’re already miserable, right?

When I got out the other side I promised myself that I’d help my skin as much as possible – and by chance I had been sent a few months supply of collagen supplements from Absolute Collagen.
