AfterPresident Donald Trump was asked how hewould grade his performance on the US economy, he gave a response that was full of the grace and humility people have come to expect from him.

Although reports suggest many Americans have ongoing uncertainty over the direction of the American economy, Trump apparently doesn’t share that opinion.

In fact, Trump gave himself glowing grades for how he’s handled the economy in a Politico interview published Monday. Really glowing. To the point where it seemed as if he was in an alternate reality from many Americans.

“A-plus,” Trump said, to which Burns responded skeptically.

The president then decided the grade wasn’t good enough and engaged in a bit of grade inflation.

“A ,” he insisted.
