Ever since a third season of The Comeback was confirmed to be in the works over the summer, we’ve been wondering exactly how Lisa Kudrow intends to bring her iconic character Valerie Cherish into the 2020s.
Well, it seems we finally have our answer.
Variety reported on Wednesday that at a recent HBO Max slate presentation, it was revealed that the third iteration of the cult mockumentary would see Valerie following her Emmy win by becoming the star of the first sitcom to be written entirely by AI.
Co-creator Michael Patrick King (yes, he of Sex And The City and, indeed, And Just Like That fame) said: ’The joke that’s already played out is that AI is bad. I mean, that was two awards [season] ago – everybody said, ‘My speech was written by........
