The park awakened to the light, the Bow Bridge reflected off the still water, the tree blossoms glistened, a chorus of birdsong carried through the trees. I walked with gratitude as my companion, knowing that here in New York, Scotland and the values it represents were to once again be celebrated during Tartan Week.
There are so many people to thank and spotlight each year for Tartan Week in New York. The National Tartan Day New York Committee plays the most integral role. Their leaders and volunteers are truly exceptional. They give their time, energy, and heart to ensure this celebration is not only memorable, but meaningful for all who experience it.
